Dancing Queen

Lucy had her very first ballet recital on Sunday. She got to dance to two different songs, complete with costume change between numbers. She was so blessed to have such a great teacher for her first year of ballet. We love Ms. Cindy!!!!! Here are a few of our favorite pictures from the big day.

Lucy tries out a few "ballet moves" as she calls them.

Lauren tries out her ballet moves after the show.
Lucy on stage during the show. (She is the second pink ballerina from the right.)
Lucy's class dancing with a "real ballerina." Lucy thought she was so great. Lucy insists that she will now always do ballet and become a ballet teacher when she grows up.
Ballet Buddies
Lucy's best friend Sophie cheers Lucy on. We can't wait for Sophie to dance with Lucy next year!!
Lucy is so excited to see her friends!
Lucy decides she is all done taking pictures... time to get ice cream to celebrate our beautiful ballerina.

I've been out for awhile and am doing some cathing up on my reading. I love the sweet ballerina pictures. My favorite is the last one, though. That is too cute. Hope you are feeling well and your not too hot.

What a precious ballerina!!! I'm glad Lauren's surgery went well. Anxious to see a side view of your ever growing belly! :)

How much fun! I loved looking at these pictures. I especially loved the last one of Lucy. I would print a big one out and frame it. I actually have one of Carter when we went to get his Easter pictures and he refused to turn around. I got a BIG one. I thought everyone would think it was dumb but it turned out to be one of the most loved ones!
