1. This week was the first week of school for Lucy and Lauren. It went really well!!
2. When I asked Lucy what her favorite part of school was she said, "All the parts are my favorite!"3. Caroline has a cute dimple when she smiles.
4. Today in the car Caroline was crying, but never fear, Lauren was on the job. She looked at Caroline and yelled, "Caroline, shhh! Caroline, shhhh! Caroline Kate, shhhhhhh! You're hurting my ears!" (didn't really help)
5. We enjoyed some ice cream to celebrate the first week of school.
6. Lucy's first day of ballet this year.
7. Jonesboro experienced a citywide blackout last weekend. Fortunately one of the Memphis stations cleared up the mystery. They said the blackout was due to a problem with the electrical circuit. Thank you Captain Obvious.8. This is the armadillo Lucy found in our backyard.
9. While my parents are here helping me survive this crazy week without Kevin (he's in Dallas), part of their air conditioning unit fell through their ceiling and partially flooded their house. Looking on the bright side, at least they can get new carpet!!

12. Kevin is running another marathon in December. Hopefully this time I will be able to cheer him on/scrape him of the road since I missed his first one.

Those were 13 great random things, Jenny! My favorite was the "shhhushing" of Caroline. That has happened a lot at our house, to no avail! ;-)

Wow, you got really close to that armadillo! We had a groundhog in our backyard a few months ago and I made good use of the zoom feature.
Your kids are adorable. I love reading what they say. And swans are definitely my favorite kinds of ducks, too.:)
