I Used To Have Fifty Dollars...

...then I went to the fair. How we could have spent fifty dollars on a lot of nothing is beyond me, but it was totally worth it! For the first time ever, it was fantastic weather. We usually sweat our way through, but tonight was cool with a breeze. And let me tell you, that makes a huge difference when you have three little girls draped all over you. :) We started off feeding the animals at the petting zoo ( I use that term loosely... it's mostly just some goats and stinky camels).

As soon as the carrots ran out, it was on to the rides. You know, the really unsafe looking rides that you have to wait in really long lines for. And then when it's your turn, you have to spend an unsightly amount of money to be able to ride. Once again, totally worth it! Lucy and Lauren had so much fun riding together this year, and even Caroline got to ride the Ferris Wheel.

And at the end of the night, the girls shared some cotton candy. There's nothing quite as cute (or sticky) as two sisters with their mouths full of cotton candy!

Don't ya love spending money on much of nothing and then worrying that you've caught every germ possible while doing it?

H loves carnival rides, too. We went to Coney Island and all he can remember and wants to talk about constantly are just the carnival rides. Especially while he's sitting on the potty...?
