Every summer we get little froggy visitors that like to hang on our back door. Lucy has named "her frog" Hoppy, and amazingly, he returns every year! (It helps that all frogs look the same!) This summer we have been missing Hoppy, but tonight he finally returned. The girls had a great time playing with/torturing him. The best moment came when he jumped on Lauren's face! Long live Hoppy!!

oh my goodness...i cannot stand those stinkin things. I love all kinds of bugs, insects, animals, but those slimy frogs give me the creeps. My kids love them. They will stare at them forever!!
My girls love frogs too. Molly loves to catch them and Sarah just likes Molly to catch them. It totally cracks me up that the girls look like they are playing with the frog freshly out of the bath...hehehehehe
I love that this little family tradition is happeneing with your girls. One of my favorite childhood memories is of my returning frogs- skinny George and fat George. A word to the wise however one ended up in my shower at some point.
