Ten Things Tuesday

Some of my friends are in the habit of writing ten things that they are thankful for on Tuesdays. I thought it might be fun to put ten things that my girls are thankful for.

1. Stickers! All over their clothes or up their arms, stickers are a great do-it-yourself beauty booster!

2. Suckers from the bank.

3. Snacks.

4. Playing outside.

5. Purple shoes! Purple shoes! Lauren will only wear her favorite purple shoes. Good luck to anyone else who tries to put a different pair of shoes on her feet!

6. Running out of milk--- they can drink juice all day!

7. Bubble baths.

8. Their Daddy. They wait at the window every night to see him come home.

9. Playing with friends.

10. Each other. Though Lucy and Lauren can fight as only sisters can, they are truly great friends and have a strong bond that I hope will last a lifetime!!

Hi, Jenny - not sure if you remember me or not, but we were at HU together and I found your blog through Danna's. So glad to catch up with you, Kevin and your beautiful girls!

Amen for the suckers from the bank! I have to roll the back windows down so the tellers can see my girls and every time I have to get on to them for yelling and waving like banchies at the tellers! It is major dissapointent in the Barrett taxi if they don't stick those suckers in the tube!

I love that last picture of the girls, so sweet!

Isn't it fun to see what makes their little days so happy? Last night I said, "Okay, let's go in here and turn on the news for Daddy. He's almost home." JM screamed "NEWS?!? Neeeeeeeeeews!" and jumped up and down like he had won the lottery. Who knew Charlie Gibson was so thrilling?

The last picture of your girls--oh, that is so precious. As we say, it's a "framer" :)
