Here is a sweet picture of Lauren asleep at naptime. She has certain rituals she follows every time she lays down. First she has to scoot back until her head hits the edge of the crib, then she has to be covered up, and then you say the prayer. After the prayer, she has to give everyone a high five!!! After that, we leave the room, and the real work begins. She takes all of her animals and blankets (7 animals and 2 blankets at last count) and builds a "nest". Only then can she relax and fall asleep. Where is the sweet picture of Lucy at naptime you ask? I ask myself that every day! Lucy has decided that she doesn't care for naps anymore, so as soon as she lays down and we walk out, she plays as quietly as possible for the next hour. If I happen to walk by, she immediately freezes and squeezes her eyes shut in what she thinks is a good imitation of sleep. The only time she falls asleep anymore is when we have to be somewhere and I need her to be awake!!

What a sweet picture of Lauren in her little "nest!" Be glad it's blankets and stuffed toys...Hayden goes to sleep with all his pacis, one in his mouth and one in each hand! I dread breaking that habit!

That is so sweet! Oh the funny night time rituals. At least Lucy pretends to be asleep!
By the way, thanks for posting a picture of a child in nonmatching clothes. We never match and I was beginning to think we were the only ones!
