At Lucy's soccer game she scored two goals!!!! She was so excited after the first one that she took a bow next to the goal before she ran over to the sidelines for some hugs and high fives! The second goal was even better. She started with the ball on one end of the field and dribbled all the way down to score her second goal. We are so proud of her! (and she is so proud of herself too!)
Lucy does battle with the green team.
After her game was over, her team celebrated the season with cupcakes and ice cream, even though it was so cold outside. :) Then they got to play on the playground with her friends. We look forward to the spring when Lucy gets to play on the same team again!!
Having fun with Lia and Jack after the game.
At Parent's Day we got to see what Lucy has been learning all semester. I have no idea what any of the technical names are for what she did, but we had so much fun watching her!

Mom's a good soccer coach, but I didn't know were into the victory dances after a score. Way to go, Lucy!!!
I gotta give props to a girl who can score 2 goals AND wear a color-coordinated bow in her hair. Go get 'em, Lucy!
One of her friends on her team brought matching bows for all the girls on her team. You have to look good while being tough! :)
I don't think I've ever seen anyone take a bow after scoring a goal before! That cracked me up! Good job, Lucy!!!
