1. Why is it that I always want you to be well behaved when you're in school, and then when your teacher tells me how quiet and calm you are, I worry that you're not having any fun?
2. I always say that it doesn't matter if you score a goal or not, it's having fun that's important. But secretly? I really want you to score a goal.
3. No, I really don't care for the new Barbie movie (or any of the other ones for that matter.)
4. I know I tell you that the shots won't be that bad, but really I'm a big baby about them too.
5. I want everyone to like you and love you as much as I do, and I dread the day you find out that not everyone is nice.
6. When you fall, I really wish you would learn to catch yourself with your hands instead of your face.
7. I wish you would sleep through the night.
8. There are times that you get in big trouble, but inside, I'm really thinking you're very funny.
9. I may have forgotten to send in your birth announcement... is it to late to announce your birth now that you're 3 months old?
10. I check on you every night when you are asleep just to see you one more time.
11. Whenever you are nervous about something new, I am nervous for you too, but I have to hide it so you will think all is well.
12. I sometimes forget how little you are because you keep up with your big sister so well.
13. Yes, I really was upset the time you cut my curtains, spilled the slushie, broke my favorite necklace, etc., but I acted like I wasn't because I knew you were more upset than me.
14. I know that sparkles, glitter, stripes, polka dots, and rainbows are all beautiful, but perhaps they might be a little much all in one outfit.
15. I wish you would magically learn how to tie your own shoes.

Love it! You are a good mommy!!!!
That was the best post ever. You forgot one... No. 16, I also wish I could wake up one morning and you are completely potty trained.
ok, I am sadly crying. I am right their with you on #1,5,7.
And #9, yes you can do it..I did w/ both.
you are a fantastic mom.
LOL! I can relate to several of them!
you can totally send out birth announcements now! who wants a picture of an ol' wrinkly baby anyway? i'd much rather see a bright-eyed, giggly, pudgy little person in that picture!
and, really, does one "have" to learn to tie one's own shoes? flats are the in thing for girls, right? ;)
super sweet post, JEnny!
I also played catch up over the past month ....so, I love Lauren's new haircut, it's so cute. And, Caroline looks like Lucy in those pictures, I can't believe she is already 3 months old. I didn't send out birth announcements until Emma and Eva Grace were 4 months, if that makes you feel better!
Wonderful...thanks for mentioning the little things!
ahh, all so true!!
Ok, these really make me laugh!
